WARNING: This is "Killed" (because of out-of-memory error?) when running
interactively in MAAP. However, it should work in the MAAP DPS (which
has a lot more dedicated memory).

S3 support for updating data

No longer needed -- they are handled correctly in the code.

Works better in S3. Reading works the same:

    gpd.read_file("/path/to/folder", layer=somelayer)
    # This will read /path/to/folder/layer.fgb

Should make testing a bit faster.

...and print some diagnostic messages.
